Blessings All Around

December 2, 2021

ORIGINAL BLOG FROM THE HIGH VIBE OIL LIFE:

LESSONS ALL AROUND....THE EVERYDAY THINGS

In Dallas today, the sun is shining and it's a crisp 62 degrees outside. I'm getting ready to go on a 2.5 mile walk, something I have been trying to do daily since I came back from my overseas trip to Pakistan. Call it a coping mechanism, a stress reduction technique, a wellness hack...whatever it is, it has been invaluable during my reintegration process. I'll slap on some Peppermint essential oil behind my neck to combat any heat, maybe spritz some TerraShield spray to avoid the gnats, and have a water bottle ready with 2 drops of Grapefruit essential oil for detoxification.

In this blessed season, I'll also toss a drop of Frankincense essential oil under my tongue before I sprint out the door. Known for all things "cellular support", this oil goes back thousands of years and across many ancient cultures, from the Middle East to Far Asia. Known as a holy oil that was presented to baby Jesus (peace be upon him) alongside Myrrh, I was thrilled to know that oils are mentioned over 500x in the Bible. Frankincense is also widely used today in the Muslim world as a fragrance that "appeals to the angels" and you can smell its smoky scent as it emanates from prayer rooms and devotional spaces and shrines.

Frankincense isn't something to be taken lightly! It's a sacred oil, it blesses our health, our life's efforts, our prayers, and can uplift the spirit in weary times. It owns an innate intelligence that knows how to repair unhealthy cells, while strengthening the healthy ones. It doesn't have to pick and choose. It sweeps up, cleans out, restores, and replenishes.

Something as "small" as an essential oil can unleash an avalanche of blessings in our mental and physical health. This is what my doTERRA journey has taught me. Never underestimate the power of one drop for daily vitality. Or the might of a daily walk to clear the mind. Or the force of the warm wind blowing on your face when you step outside, on what is supposed to be a cold day in winter. These "everyday things" add up, and can help land you in a better space today than you were in yesterday. And sometimes, that sense of progress, can be the greatest blessing of all.
