ORIGINAL BLOG POST FROM THE HIGH VIBE OIL LIFE:
Summer is here and we are all over the place. Even when we were in Allen, we were catching up with doctors, dentists, optometrists and chiropractors, and driving all over town. Now that we've driven to Atlanta, we're jetting between different houses as we prepare for a South Asian wedding which consists of multiple events, singing, dancing, lots of bright colors, tons of food and family gatherings late into the night, lots of chai and of course, henna designs!
The one thing that's a common thread during travel, whether its at home or elsewhere, among all the crazy jet-setting is making sure we don't get sick. We drove 14 hours from Dallas to Atlanta with our car diffuser plugged in with Wild Orange essential oil to keep the car's atmosphere fresh and crisp. As soon as we got into our sleeping space, I plugged in my travel diffuser with On Guard essential oil to clean the air again of germs. When my son's throat turned a bit hoarse, I knew he was about to come down with something and immediately started him on a cocktail of 2 drops each of lemon, melaleuca, oregano and On Guard in a veggie cap. When we were feeling tired from a long day, I used Peace essential oil to wind down.
Our trip has been full of oil stories despite coming here for classes or any kind of business related activity. My husband's aunt has suffered for years with insomnia, but after only one night of applying Vetiver on her feet and Serenity on her chest, she slept for a full three-four hours (compare that to a mere 1/2 hour every night). She's hooked. Another aunt has tension headaches and a couple of applications of Past Tense did the trick for her. Yet another aunt was worrying about her 14 hour plane trip back across the Atlantic, and I provided her some Lavender and Balance for anxiousness/nervousness and Deep Blue for any muscle aches. It seems wherever I go, folks are asking me about recipes and oils, and I love sharing the blessings.
